We have recently designed and created a database for stock control.
The database system needed to have the following features.

Networked so at least 5 users can access and update it at the same time.

Web access was also required, this involved programming using PHP, HTML and SQL.

Export data in a format ready for uploading into an existing e-commerce website.

Produce reports about stock levels, reorder levels etc.

The database has been setup with the following software:
Client-side
Windows XP
OpenOffice.org productivity suite
MySQL ODBC Connector
Sun Report Builder

Server-Side
Debian Linux (lenny)
MySQL v5.051
PHP v5.2.6
